  • Ms. Alicia - Infant Teacher
Hi, my name is Ms. Alicia. I currently reside in Perkasie with my husband and 12 year old son. I enjoy camping, boating, gardening, travel, and reading. I have more than 12 years of experience working with children. I have been a nanny for 2 separate sets of twins, watched children in my home, volunteered in my sons school and work at AMC with babies to 3’s and Kindergarten. I have been at AMC for almost 3 years. I have attended lots of training classes, taken Early Childhood Education classes and have my childhood development credentials. I believe children through play; need structure, and lots of love, positive reinforcement, and patients. Each child is an individual and has different needs, figuring out what they are can be achieved through communication with family and observation. It is a pleasure to watch children grow and learn. I get to share in all their “firsts” which is so special. Working with families, I get to help with not only the daily things but also the common issues of babies; like sleeping though the night, feedings, etc. When they move up they have grown and learned so much and being a part of that is priceless.

  • Ms. Mary - Young Toddler Teacher

I have worked with children for about 15 years with various ages, mostly infants and toddlers whom I enjoy watching grow, accomplishing new milestones daily. I have worked at AMC for about three years; my children have learned so much; from colors, shapes, playing instruments, counting, cutting, and pasting. They have learned independence, self-confidence, and manners along with practicing developing their own individual personalities. Education should be exciting and fun. Children should look forward to seeing their teacher and experience a new day through imaginative play, experimenting, problem solving, and communication with parents, teacher’s, and peers. AMC has been a positive experience for myself and the children. The center is full of new educational experiences, playground equipment, and is a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the children.
